Mountain Wedding in Breckenridge

Weddings

Amanda and Marshall’s mountain wedding in Breckenridge, Colorado, was a perfect reflection of their love for outdoor adventure. They curated their day to be meaningful, intimate, and filled with special moments.

Getting Ready in a Mountain Cabin

Amanda began her day surrounded by her sister, friends, and family at a large mountain cabin. Sipping champagne while her soon-to-be sister-in-law did her hair and makeup, she was the picture of calm and happiness. The morning was made even more special with heartfelt gifts from her childhood best friends, bringing tears to her eyes.

Private First Look and Vows

Amanda and Marshall opted for a private first look and vows in a secluded spot near their ceremony site at Loveland Pass Lake Trail. The moment was intimate and filled with emotion, setting the tone for their beautiful day.

A Ceremony Full of Surprises

The ceremony, attended by an intimate group of their closest friends and family, was nestled in the breathtaking mountains. As Amanda and Marshall began their vows, a torrential rainstorm rolled in unexpectedly. They chose to end the ceremony early as everyone was getting soaked, but not without a memorable moment. As they walked down the aisle for the first time, I snapped an epic photo of them laughing and embracing the rain. This black and white (below) photo recently received a feature in Photobug Weddings.

As soon as they stepped out of the rain, the sun came out, allowing them to resume the ceremony. They walked back down the aisle in full sunshine, their smiles and laughter showing their joy and resilience.

Stunning Couple Portraits

After the ceremony, the rain threatened to return, but we managed to capture stunning couple portraits with the mountains and lake as a backdrop. Amanda and Marshall’s love and joy shone through in every photo.

Celebrations at Grand Timber Lodge

Following their portraits, the couple returned to the cabin to dry off and enjoy lunch with their family. The celebration then moved to the Grand Timber Lodge in Breckenridge, where they shared dinner, toasts, and dancing before their sparkler exit. The entire day was filled with laughter, sweet glances, and unforgettable moments, including a special cello performance by Russick Smith, in an actual tree!

Capturing the Magic

Amanda and Marshall’s mountain wedding in Breckenridge, Colorado, was a beautiful celebration of their love for each other and the great outdoors.
