Love at Gati Ice Cream and McKinney Falls
Engagement sessions are all about celebrating love, capturing memories, and having fun. Recently, I had the joy of photographing Melanie and Darian, an incredibly sweet and playful couple, at two beautiful locations: Gati Ice Cream Shop and McKinney Falls State Park. This session perfectly highlighted their unique love story and showcased their vibrant personalities.
Melanie and Darian’s Love Story
Melanie and Darian’s engagement session was divided into two parts, each reflecting different aspects of their relationship.
Gati Ice Cream Shop
We started the session at Gati Ice Cream Shop, a charming spot known for its gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan treats. This was an ideal location for Melanie, who follows a gluten-free diet. The ice cream shop provided a fun and playful backdrop for the first half of their session. Melanie’s smile was contagious, lighting up the entire shop, while Darian couldn’t take his eyes off her, his adoration clear in every glance.
They shared scoops of colorful ice cream, laughed over shared stories, and playfully fed each other spoonfuls. The vibrant, whimsical atmosphere of Gati Ice Cream Shop perfectly captured their joyful, carefree love.
McKinney Falls State Park
As the sun began to set, we moved to McKinney Falls State Park for some golden hour magic. This stunning location was the perfect contrast to the playful energy of the ice cream shop, allowing us to capture the more serene and genuine side of their love story.
Walking hand-in-hand through the park, Melanie and Darian shared quiet moments of connection that made for heartfelt images. The golden light washing them in a sweet glow as they made their way around the waterfall and over the white-capped rocks.
Their love for nature and each other was evident as they explored the park, culminating in a breathtaking series of images for their engagement session.
